Trail Highlights
This is Sedona’s most famous 4x4 trail and one of the most spectacular trails in Arizona for scenery and “rollercoaster-like” fun.  The trail traverses red sandstone canyons and formations. Open year-round. 

Rating
Adventurous 6. Rating is due to the steepness and narrowness of the trail. 

Length
4 miles off-pavement. Allow 2.5 hours with stops. 

Vehicles
Recommended only for short-wheel-base, high-clearance, four-wheel-drive vehicles with low range transfer cases (4L). Sharp S-curves, steps and steep break-over angles make it physically impassible to larger vehicles without risking damage to the trail and/or the vehicle.
