Trail Highlights
A great ride through the classic western ranch country, offering scenery and some fun 4-wheeling, consisting of climbs and descents through juniper-studded hills and rocky canyons. Low-traffic trail with great panoramic views. Open year-round.
Rating
Adventurous 5. The southern part of the loop is the most technical. Go as far as comfortable or return the way you came.
Length
10 miles off-pavement (about 3 miles in 4L). Allow 2 hours.
Vehicles
Recommended for high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles with low range transfer cases (4L). Long vehicles and/or vehicles with running boards are at risk of dragging on rocks at the southwest end of the trail.
