Trail Highlights
A short, fun 4x4 trail to some of Sedona’s fascinating geological wonders. This is one of the few trails that actually take you right up onto the red rocks and is the perfect trail to test your rock-crawling legs. If you like this trail, you will probably enjoy Broken Arrow and Diamondback Gulch. Open year-round. Gate is open 8 AM to 6 PM daily.
Rating
Adventurous 5. Short, but steep climbs and some rocky ledges.
Length
3 miles off-pavement (3 miles in 4L). Allow 1.5 hours.
Vehicles
Recommended for small to mid-size high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles with low range transfer cases (4L). Long and/or full-size vehicles are likely to have trouble fitting between rocks and trees.
